Bruce is a true local, being rooted in the community back several generations to the United Empire Loyalists. Following the retirement of his partner, Bill Sirman, Bruce took over sole ownership and management of the office. He has helped thousands of clients of all ranges from Municipalities, Golf Courses, Churches, Corporations, Partnerships and Individuals. Bruce’s areas of practice are real estate, corporate/business law, tax advice, wills and estates and municipal law.
June 6, 2022 L. Bruce Cowle was sworn in as a Deputy Judge of the Small Claims Court and now does this part-time in addition to practicing as a lawyer

About Bruce
Bruce is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Canadian Bar Association, the Napanee Rotary Club, the Community Foundation for Lennox and Addington and has been the treasurer of the Lennox & Addington County Law Association since 1992. When not practising law, Bruce’s passion is music. He previously played with the talented Kim Pollard and has performed in venues as diverse as the National Arts Centre, Hard Rock Café in Memphis and the Lakeview Tavern in Erinsville. He is currently playing with Lasalle Causeway Swing Band.
